HOW IT WORKS
Loop sits in the middle.
Loop sits between merchants, banks, and customers so that a checkout moment can become a fully-funded loan in under a minute.
Customer
Sees a plan, picks a term, checks out.
Loop Network
Matches, presents offers, routes funding & settlement.
Bank
Underwrites, funds, and services the loan.
The flow, step by step
01
Loop Node runs inside the bank
The decision engine is deployed in the issuing bank’s own cloud or environment. Customer data stays with the bank.
02
Account holders are scored
Millions of financial and non-financial data points produce a filtered list of creditworthy customers, each with a Loop Score and limit.
03
Customer pays by card
At a Loop merchant, in store or online, the customer taps or inserts their debit card. A credit card from a member bank can convert to EMI too.
04
Pay Later and EMI plans appear
The customer sees the term, the rate and the total for each, and picks one, or pays in full.
05
The customer agrees
They enter their card PIN, then read and accept the loan agreement on the terminal.
06
Purchase becomes an instant loan
The issuing bank originates and funds the loan against its own balance sheet.
07
Merchant is paid
The bank pays the full sale amount, instantly, whatever plan the customer chose.
08
Repayments run automatically
The customer’s bank collects each instalment by auto-debit.
